Annika holds a Diploma of Professional Pilates through The Pilates International Training centre and is a member of the Pilates Alliance Australasia.
Annika was first introduced to Pilates whilst studying classical ballet in Sydney in 1998, at first Pilates was used to complement her dance training and then to rehabilitate after having surgery on both legs in 2001.
It was after experiencing the many benefits Pilates had on her own body and mind that she decided to take her journey further and become an instructor.
What Annika enjoys most about teaching is seeing her clients achieve their goals whether it be the ability to overcome an injury and exercise without pain or to see the improvements to their strength and flexibility. She also loves how Pilates enables us to shut off for an hour from our busy lives and focus solely on our breath and get deeper into our bodies.
